Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in television and film, is best known for films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already obtained a few television appearances, such as the lead role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. Her acclaimed and critically acclaimed performance in the film for television that she made Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including that of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge.
