Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian that has been in the business for quite a while. Born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish television shows and British series since 2009. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team in addition to being a performer in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the daughter of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. She uses the surnamed Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of Bea was Brian was a vet for horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. But, she did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea's mother Helen, who is also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter and Sinead. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
